Abstract

This study was intended to: (1) know the procedure of developing and making construction Learning Module for students of class X, engineering drawing major in SMKN 1 Sedayu Bantul; (2) know the feasibility of the Construction Learning Module for students of class X, engineering drawing major in SMKN 1 Sedayu Bantu; (3) know the instructional effect of using of the Construction Learning Module to the result of the completed learning and the increase of average value of class ; (4) know the impact of counter point of the using of the Construction Learning Module to the positive behavior improvement to the students.This research was a research and development study by using development of “Four-D” Thiagarajan: defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The stages of dissemination was not done in this research. The product was tested as a trial to students of class X, engineering drawing major in SMKN 1 Sedayu Bantul. The trial tests were carried out in four meetings. The instruments used in the tests were questionnaire and a test. The questionnaire was for validation expert and positive behavior assessment. The test was for the result of the study. The data analysis was using quantitative descriptive.The results of the research were: (1) The procedures of making the Construction Learning Module were: define (analyze the needs of the module), design (collecting the references of the materials, and constructing module), develop (validating product and testing product), and dessiminate (module semination); (2) the Construction Learning Module which was developed according to the assessment of the expert in materials got score (85.81), with criteria very feasible, and according to the expert in media got score (82,32) with criteria very feasible. (3) the impact of instructional of the completed learning result of students increased from 71.81% (test 1) to 84.37% (test 4), the impact of instructional to the increase of class average scores with the interval of test 1- test 4 improved 9.38%. (4) The impact of counter point, there was a change in the positive behavior of the students, 2.984% (before and after the students used the Construction Learning Module).
