This is a qualitative study. The variables of this study consist of learning achievement, self-concept, school discipline, and learning motivation. The population of this study was 190 Grade X students of SMA N 9 Yogyakarta. The sample collection technique employed the proportional random sampling using the technique of Nomogram Harry King. The sample of this study was 134 students (51 males and 83 females). The data were collected using questionnaires to assess the variables of self-concept, school discipline and learning motivation as well as documentation from the school to examine students’ achievement. The data analysis techniques employed path analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that, 1) There is a positive and significant effect of the self-concept variable on learning achievement. It is indicated by the cr-value (t-count) by 3.052 > t table of 1.995 and the probability of 0.002 (p<0.05). The indirect effect through learning motivation is indicated by the path coefficient by 0.065; 2) There is a positive and significant effect of the school discipline on learning achievement. It is indicated by the cr-value (t-count) by 2.694 > t table of 1.995 and the probability of 0.007 (p<0.05). The indirect effect through learning motivation is indicated by the path coefficient by 0.133; 3) There is a positive and significant effect of the variables of self-concept and school discipline on learning motivation with the value of R2 by 0.355, meaning that these two variables contribute a positive and significant effect of 35.3% on the learning motivation variable; 4) There is a positive and significant effect of the learning motivation on the learning achievement of Grade X students of SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. In accordance with the results of the study, it is shown that the value of cr was 2.169 and the probability value was 0.03. Keywords: Self-concept, school discipline, learning motivation, learning achievement.
