Abstract
The Examination of Social Discourse in the Rubrick “Women and Family” in the September-November Edition of Djaka Lodang Magazine on 2014 by Trisna Kusumaningrum NIM. 11205244008 ABSTRACT This research researchs about the mean completing a discourse and a proportion topic of discourse. The purpose of the reasearch is to investigate what the means of social discourse are and proporton topic in the rubric “Women and Family” in the September-November edition of Djaka Lodang magazine on 2014. This research is a descriptive-qualitative reaserach. The data becoming the object is taken in rubric “Women and Family” which studies about social discourse and choosing the research source data is gotten in September-November edition of Djaka Lodang magazine on 2014. I use 3 methods to get the source data. The first one is to read, the second method is to read articles or news, and the third method is to give marks to the data which form complete means. The result of the research shows that the complete means in this rubric “Women and Family is divide into three: (1) Gramamatical Cohesion which is found in the research is conjunction, substitution, reference,and ellipsis, (2) Logical Cohesion which is found in this research is repetition, synonim, hyponim, antonim, and collocation, (3) Cohorence which is found in this research is cohorence of reasons and motives, generic-spesific, motives and consequences, identification, means-result, background-conclusion, means-purposes, condition-result, comparison, additive time, non additive time, simile, and amplification, (4) Proportion topic in this research is causing stress, given presents, the need for living, learning feeding children, modern era, Mr. Sonto's children, the way to reduce workfare, sleep is a need, new bycycle, children are raised by their mother, the danger of the stress, childrean are difficult to eat, the way of life, given the present, caused schizophrenia, Javanesse's attitude, how to take care of children well, how to take the present, getting kuthuk, an successful woman, experiance of living, parents can't be otoriter.
