Abstract

This research aims to (1) Determine whether there is any effect of the soft skills for industrial practices Department of Architecture Engineering students of State 1 Adiwerna Vocational School. (2) Determine the extent of the soft skills of Department of Architecture Engineering students of State 1 Adiwerna Vocational School. (3) Knowing how much the level of implementation of industrial practice of the Department of Architecture Engineering students of State 1 Adiwerna Vocational School. This research is an ex-post facto research. The sampling technique used is probability sampling types of simple random sampling, a sample of 67 students who had been carrying out of industrial practice sampled. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire. The validity of the instrument was tested using Product Moment Correlation. Instrument reliability was tested using Alpha Cronbach formula. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS 16.0. The results showed: (1) There is a significant effect of soft skills with the implementation of the industrial practice of Department of Architecture Engineering students of State 1 Adiwerna Vocational School with the Sig (0,028) <α (0.05) with the level of influence that R2 = 0.1767 means that soft skills affect the implementation of the industrial practice of 17.67%. (2) As much as 85.5% of soft skills of students into the high category. (3) As much as 76% Implementation of the industrial practice of students into the high category.
