Abstract
This is a description research using the qualitative analysis. The data were taken through interviews and observations. The samples were the 6 students of D-II PGSD Penjas FIK UNY who were taking the micro teaching course in the academic year of 2005. The data were analyzed through the procedure of: (1) data reduction, (2) data display, and (3) conclusion and verification. The result of this study show that the internal obstructions of the D-II students of PGSD Penjas FIK UNY in the micro teaching course were their teaching knowledge and their mental preparation while the external ones were from less effective communication with consultants, infrastructures of adult size, the scheduling and opportunity for the students to practice, and less cooperation environment of the students.
