Abstract

THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF LEARNING METHODOLOGY AND EVALUATION ACHIEVEMENT LEVEL TOWARDS PEDAGOGIC COMPETENCE TEACHING PRACTICE STUDENTS OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EDUCATION YOGYAKARTA STATE UNIVERSITY 2013 Stephanus Chandra Saputra Aji NIM. 10503241001 ABSTRACT This research is aimed to know: (1)The pedagogic competence achievement level of teaching practice students of Mechanical Engineering Education YSU 2013; (2)The learning methodology achievement level of teaching practice students of Mechanical Engineering Education YSU 2013; (3)The learning evaluation achievement level of teaching practice students of Mechanical Engineering Education YSU 2013; (4)The contribution of learning methodology achievement level towards pedagogic competence of teaching practice students of Mechanical Engineering Education YSU 2013; (5)The contribution of learning evaluation achievement level towards pedagogic competence of teaching practice students of Mechanical Engineering Education YSU 2013 and; (6)The contributions of learning methodology and evaluation achievement level towards pedagogic competence of teaching practice students of Mechanical Engineering Education YSU 2013. This research used ex-post facto method. The population of this research was all of teaching practice students of Mechanical Engineering Education YSU in 2013. The data were collected by tests and documentation method. The technique for data analysis were correlation and multiple regression. The results of this research were: (1)The pedagogic competence of teaching practice students was high, as the mean score was 18,25; (2)The methodology learning achievement level of teaching practice students was very high as the mean score 76,01; (3)The learning evaluation achievement level of teaching practice students was high, as the mean score was 72,99; (4)The learning methodology achievement level had positive and significant contribution towards pedagogic competence of teaching practice students (Rx1y=0,509; p=0,05); (5)The learning evaluation achievement level had positive and significant contribution towards pedagogic competence of teaching practice students (Rx2y=0,454; p=0,05); (6)The learning methodology and evaluation level achievement had positive and significant contribution towards pedagogic competence of teaching practice students of Mechanical Engineering Education YSU 2013 (Ryx1x2=0,606; p=0,05), under the regression equation which is Y= -6,275 + 0,184X1 + 0,145X2.
