Abstract

This research was aimed to evaluate the learning process of machining practice using two-shift program in Pangudi Luhur Muntilan Vocational high school which includes to (1) The carrying capacity; (2) The qualifications of machining practice teachers in pangudi luhur muntilan vocational high shcool; (3) the facilities in learning & learning completeness; (4) the student’s participation in teaching and learning process; (5) the effective of practice learning outcomes. This research was an evaluation reseach by using CIPP model. The context dimension of this research was intended to support of 2 shift program. Input was intended to examinepracticing teacher’s qualifications and teachers’ respodents, while learning facilities and students’ respondent. Process was intended to can be seen from students’ attitude & students’ final score. The respondents of this research are the students of machining engineering class XII A, XII B, and XII C. The collecting data of context, input, process and product from the students’ used quesionaire. The decisions of instrument validity use the judgement expert and analysis validity empirically with product moment corrleation. The decisionof realibity use Alfa crombach technique. The result of this research shows that (1)The carriying capacity for the use of 2 shifts very supportive practices; (2) The qualifications of machining practice teachers in pangudi luhur muntilan vocational high shcool is good category; (3) the facilities in machining practical learning in good category, especially the avalibility of the equipments; (4) the student’s participation in teaching and learning process is also good; (5) the effectiveness of practical learning by using 2shift program is also included to the effectime time, and the number of graduates more increased.
