Abstract
This study aims to determine perceptions of students of class X TKJ about the ability of teachers to teach subjects in vocational Tamansiswa Jetis IPPK Yogyakarta. This research is descriptive. Data collection methods used using a questionnaire. The population in this study were all students of class X TKJ at SMK Yogyakarta Tamansiswa Jetis numbering as many as 62 students and the samples used in the study were 28 students. Test the validity of the instrument using Product Moment Correlation formula and test the reliability of using the formula Croanbach's Alpha. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. The result shows the perception of students of class X TKJ about the ability of teachers to teach subjects in vocational Tamansiswa Jetis IPPK Yogyakarta in the high category with the percentage of 42.86%. Thus it can be interpreted that the ability of teachers to teach subjects in vocational Tamansiswa Jetis IPPK Yogyakarta is in either category, giving rise to the perception of a good student as well.
