This is an experimental research study using Pre-Test-Post-Test Group Design. The populations in this research were 23 volleyball players of “Garuda” from Kulonprogo Regency, Yogyakarta. The samples were all populations so that this study is called as population research. The instruments used in this research were Multistage Fitness Test. The data were analyzed using t test, and mean deficiency. The results show that: (1) there were significant influences of continuous exercise towards the aerobic capacity, (2) there were significant influences of interval exercise towards the aerobic capacity, (3) there were significant differences in the effectiveness of continuous and interval exercise towards the aerobic capacity. Continuous exercise was more effective than the interval one. This is a qualitative research study. The data were collected mainly through interviews complemented by documentation and observation. The subjects were the teachers who were the committee of MGMP Penjaskes SLTP of Sleman Regency. The interview was conducted to three of twelve members of committee who were Head I, Secretary I, and Secretary II. The data triangulation were conducted through interviewing the teachers who were active in the activities held by MGMP. The data were administered, organized, and selected based on the determined focus and then they were described and interpreted to answer the research questions. The results of this study show that MGMP Penjaskes had implemented 5 of 6 its general functions. The 6th general function is implemented occasionally. It is identified that the obstacles were the distance among the schools, the limited owners of telephones in schools, lack of coordination with MGMP of province, limited funding, lack of togetherness of the committee, and the tight teaching schedules and those who seek for additional earning. The benefits taken by the members who were active in MGMP events and for MGMP itself as an organizations were increasing knowledge and skills, obtaining certificate and credit points, meeting with workmates, sharing experience, and strengthening physical education and health teachers as a corps. Some important points found in this research were the supervisors who oversaw the MGMP events very often were those who had no physical education background, the coordination functions had not been conducted by MGMP of province, and Head I had showed oversaturated in leading MPGP of the physical education and health subject which indicated that the management functions of MGMP was not good. This research used qualitative approach. The data collecting methods used in this study were interview and observation. The subjects were the teachers of physical education from SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 3 (1 teacher), and SD Perumnas Condong Catur (2 teachers). Data triangulation with parents was not performed since it was difficult to find proper source for the interview. All the data obtained were administered, organized, dan selected on the basis of research focus. Further, the data were described and interpreted to answer the research questions. The results of this study show that the understanding of physical education teachers of SD Condong Catur and SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 3 on fair play was appropriate. It was supported by their answers related to fair play. Related to the application of fair play in the courses, the respondents mentioned that it was essential to apply the concept of fair play in the instructions. It was demonstrated in an observation. In terms of fair play in the society, all respondents had the same opinion that it was necessary and they did simple things which led to the establishment of values of fair play in sport and non-sport activities. There were no significant findings of this research study. MargonoSuharjana
