The study was driven by rising concerns about how excessive internet use negatively impacts students' habits, especially their sleep and [physical activity levels. Sports sciences 210 students (FIKK) selected, and data was collected using standardized tools: The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) measures sleep quality, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) assesses physical activity levels, and the Young Diagnostic Questionnaire (YDQ) assesses Internet Addiction. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 25. Descriptive statistics were used to profile the sample, while inferential techniques such as correlation and regression were employed to determine the relationship between variables. The mediation analysis followed the steps outlined by Baron and Kenny (1986).
According to descriptive analysis, individuals' levels of physical activity varied, their internet addiction was moderate, and their sleep quality was generally poor. Studies showed that internet addiction significantly impacted sleep quality and physical activity. Additionally, it was found that physical activity and sleep quality were positively correlated. The relationship between internet addiction and physical activity was found to be considerably mediated by sleep quality. These results suggest that internet addiction has a negative effect on physical activity through poor sleep quality. To preserve students' physical health, academic performance, and general well-being, the study emphasizes the necessity of remedies that concentrate on proper sleeping habits and appropriate internet use. Implement into practice integrated programs that emphasize sleep hygiene and digital wellbeing in order to encourage better behavior.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">Olahraga</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2025-05-08</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan dan Kesehatan;Ilmu Keolahragaan</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_92012"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_92012_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
