"This study aims to examine collaboration strategies between schools and\r\ncommunities to improve communication effectiveness. Quality education requires\r\nsynergy between three main pillars: educational institutions, parents, and students.\r\nSuch collaboration often faces various challenges, such as cultural differences,\r\nparents’ time constraints, and a lack of shared understanding that hinders two-way\r\ncommunication. Failure to establish harmonious communication not only obstructs\r\nstudents’ academic achievement but also causes misunderstandings between\r\nschools and the community. This study seeks to identify, analyze, and compare\r\ncommunication strategies implemented by two schools in order to formulate an\r\neffective collaboration model.\r\nThis study employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through in-\r\ndepth interviews with foundation heads, principals, teachers, and parents, as well\r\nas through participatory observation and document analysis at Adzkia\r\nBanjarnegara Elementary School and Batutis Al-Ilmi Bekasi Elementary School.\r\nData analysis was carried out using NVivo software through several stages:\r\ntranscription, coding, grouping, comparing, and interpretation to explore the\r\ndeeper meanings of the collected data.\r\nThe results show that: 1) Adzkia Banjarnegara Elementary School\r\nimplements value-oriented and emotionally engaging strategies. Programs such as\r\nparenting workshops, regular meetings to discuss children’s progress, and family\r\nactivities (e.g., “Sik Asik Piknik”) are used to build emotional bonds and shared\r\nphilosophical understanding with parents. Batutis Al-Ilmi Bekasi Elementary\r\nSchool prioritizes adaptive communication and systematic communication\r\nmanagement. The school optimally uses digital media for information\r\ndissemination and relies on formal forums such as the Parents and Teachers\r\nAssociation (POMG); 2) success in both schools is supported by shared vision and\r\nleadership but is hindered by differences in parental participation and digital\r\nliteracy; and 3) based on these findings, a communication model is recommended\r\nthat combines Adzkia’s emotional approach with Batutis’s systematic management,\r\nemphasizing the key role of principals, teacher training, and active parental\r\ninvolvement."^^ .
