"The study aims to: (1) identify curriculum changes and examine the\r\nmanagerial role of madrasah principals in managing those changes at MIT Al-\r\nHusna Bayat; (2) investigate curriculum changes and examine the managerial role\r\nof madrasah principals in managing those changes at MITQ Al-Manar Trucuk; and\r\n(3) examine effective patterns of managerial roles performed by madrasah\r\nprincipals in overseeing curriculum changes at both MIT Al-Husna Bayat and\r\nMITQ Al-Manar Trucuk.\r\nThe research employed a qualitative case study approach. The participants\r\nincluded madrasah principals and teachers. Data collection techniques and\r\ninstruments comprised interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data were\r\nanalyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which involved the following steps:\r\ndata collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.\r\nThe study results show that: (1) curriculum changes in both madrasahs\r\nproceed through systematic and contextual stages, beginning with initial\r\nevaluation, collaborative planning, teacher training, gradual implementation, and\r\nongoing assessment. This process reflects a planned, participatory, and reflective\r\napproach aligned with change management theory. Implementing curriculum\r\nchanges in both institutions demonstrates tendencies consistent with the ADKAR\r\nand Lewin models. The observed changes reflect a transitional process, a gradual\r\nshift from the old system to the new. However, elements of developmental and\r\ntransformational change are also present. A combination of modernist and\r\npostmodernist approaches emerges in the curriculum implementation; (2)\r\nmadrasah principals played a crucial role in initiating, directing, organizing, and\r\nevaluating curriculum changes. Managerial functions were carried out effectively,\r\nshowcasing visionary, collaborative, and adaptive leadership; and (3) effective\r\npatterns of managerial roles in curriculum change management include: (a)\r\nplanning that is participatory, data-driven, realistic, and strategic; (b) organizing\r\nthat is clear, equitable, efficient, and delegation-oriented; (c) leadership that is\r\nvisionary, motivational, communicative, and humanistic; (d) supervision that is\r\nreflective, data-based, supportive, and focused on teachers’ professional\r\ndevelopment; and (e) collaboration and networking that involve building internal\r\nand external partnerships and being open to external resources."^^ .
