"The Praxis of Work Education with a Democratic Education Vision in The Disruption Technology Era: A Case Study at Sanggar Anak Alam."^^ . "This study seeks to examine the practice of work education at Sanggar Anak Alam (SALAM), a non-formal educational institution that represents a vision of democratic education under technological disruption. The research aims to thoroughly examine the philosophical underpinnings of SALAM’s work education approach within the context of democratic principles, while also addressing evolving societal and life needs. Additionally, it examines the formulation of the curriculum and its alignment with fostering learner autonomy, critical awareness, and applicability to real work life environments. This study investigates the practice of work education, emphasizing dialogical exchanges and collaborative learning processes that embody democratic values. Furthermore, it examines the evaluation procedures and assessment criteria employed at SALAM, emphasizing their congruence with transformative learning objectives and the empowerment of learners. This study employs a qualitative case study technique grounded in a constructivist framework. Data were gathered via comprehensive interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. Key informants comprised educators (designated as facilitators), learners, and founders engaged in the formulation and implementation of SALAM’s learning strategies. The approach was informed by philosophical inquiry and democratic education frameworks, incorporating insights from theorists such as John Dewey and Paulo Freire. The results indicate that SALAM’s educational approach is based on a philosophy that prioritizes significant learning via experience, autonomy, and social responsibility. The curriculum is organically developed, contextually integrated, and sensitive to individual learner interests. The implementation process is defined by trust-based relationships and mutual authority between facilitators and learners. Furthermore, the student assessment methodologies at SALAM emphasize reflective discussion and portfolio-based evaluation, fostering profound engagement with the learning process. The study confirms that SALAM's work education represents a dynamic paradigm of democratic praxis in education."^^ . "2025-08-13" . . . "Sekolah Pascasarjana"^^ . . .
