Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Playen yang berjumlah 103 peserta didik. Teknik sampling menggunakan metode simple random sampling, berjumlah 82 peserta didik. Peneliti menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif persentase.\r\nHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman peserta didik pada kategori “sangat tinggi” sebanyak 18,29% (15 peserta didik ), kategori “tinggi” sebanyak 71,95% (59 peserta didik ), kategori “cukup” sebanyak 9,7% (8 peserta didik ), kategori “rendah” 0%, kategori “sangat rendah” 0%."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
