Pemetaan pemanfaatan media\r\nsosial dilihat dari aspek bentuk media sosial, subjek (seseorang) yang berhubungan\r\ndengan siswa di media sosial, serta pemanfaatan media sosial oleh siswa.\r\nPenelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek\r\npenelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Maesan, objek penelitian\r\nini adalah pemanfaatan media sosial oleh siswa dengan narasumber penelitian yaitu\r\nsiswa dan guru wali kelas. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu\r\nobservasi, kuesioner/angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data\r\nmeliputi redukasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Uji\r\nkeabsahan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber dan teknik.\r\nBerdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, (1) Bentuk media\r\nsosial yang digunakan oleh siswa sekolah dasar dengan jumlah 17 siswa dipaparkan\r\ndengan hasil persentase sebagai berikut. Wikipedia (76%), Facebook dan X (35%),\r\nYouTube dan Tiktok (100%), Instagram (29%), WhatsApp (100%), Free Fire\r\n(71%), Mobile Legends (35%), PUBG (24%), Sakura (59%). Beberapa siswa juga\r\nmenggunakan dan mengakses aplikasi lain seperti Shopee, Lita, Avatar World,\r\nHonor of King, Pinterest, Ludo, dan Minecraft. (2) Siswa berinteraksi melalui\r\nmedia sosial dengan orang tua, kerabat, dan teman melalui platform WhatsApp dan\r\nInstagram. Selain itu, siswa juga berinteraksi dengan teman secara virtual (teman\r\nbermain game) melalui Free Fire, Mobile Legends, serta PUBG. (3) Pengaksesan\r\nwikipedia untuk mencari kartun favorit siswa, serta ajang pencarian bakat di\r\ntelevisi. Pengaksesan YouTube dan Tik Tok untuk melihat konten mengenai game\r\nFree Fire, trend bus basuri dan bus telolet, tutorial memasak, serta menonton Upin\r\nIpin dari content creator yang mereka minati. Pengaksesan instagram untuk\r\nmengupload foto dan video yang mereka miliki serta WhatsApp untuk\r\nberkomunikasi dan bertukar informasi serta memiliki grup baru dengan orangtua,\r\nkerabat, serta teman secara virtual. Pengaksesan game Free Fire, Mobile Legends,\r\nSakura , PUBG, Roblox, serta Minecraft untuk bermain.
