Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Gantang 1\r\nMagelang dengan subyek penelitian kelas III yang berjumlah 13 siswa. Penelitian ini\r\ndilaksanakan 2 siklus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, skala, dan dokumentasi.\r\nInstrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan skala keaktifan\r\nbelajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif.  \r\nHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran talking stick dapat\r\nmeningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri Gantang 1 pada muatan\r\npembelajaran PPKn. Hasil rata-rata skor observasi keaktifan belajar siswa tahap pra\r\nsiklus adalah 60% (sedang), siklus I menjadi 82% (tinggi), dan meningkat pada siklus\r\nII mencapai 93% (sangat tinggi). Kemudian hasil rata-rata skala keaktifan belajar\r\nsiswa tahap pra siklus adalah 69% (sedang) dengan persentase jumlah siswa tuntas\r\n31% atau 4 siswa, siklus I menjadi dengan persentase 79% (tinggi) dengan jumlah\r\npersentase siswa tuntas 85% atau 11 siswa, dan meningkat pada siklus II mencapai\r\n88% (sangat tinggi) dengan persentase jumlah siswa tuntas 100% atau 13 siswa.\r\n\r\nKata kunci: keaktifan belajar, metode talking stick"^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
