Dalam konteks visi Indonesia Emas tahun 2045, diperlukan SDM konstruksi masa depan yang berkualitas. Banyak studi yang telah dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kompetensi kerja tapi penelitian yang mengkonstruksi kompetensi kerja dengan cara mengidentifikasi kebutuhan kompetensi kerja saat ini dan memprediksinya dengan pandangan ke depan dalam konteks menyongsong Indonesia Emas tahun 2045 masih sangat terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) memvalidasi konstruk kompetensi kerja yang diperlukan saat ini bagi calon tenaga ahli konstruksi lulusan sarjana terapan, yang terdiri dari: kompetensi khusus, kompetensi luas, dan kompetensi abstrak, dan (2) mendeskripsikan kompetensi kerja masa depan yang diperlukan di bidang konstruksi bagi tenaga ahli konstruksi lulusan sarjana terapan dalam menyongsong Indonesia Emas tahun 2045. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed-method dengan desain explanatory sequential. Sumber data pada tahap kuantitatif adalah 220 orang praktisi di bidang konstruksi yang berperan sebagai asesor. Narasumber pada tahap kualitatif sejumlah 12 orang yang berasal dari instansi pemerintah, asosiasi profesi, organisasi masyarakat, perguruan tinggi, perusahaan teknologi, dan kontraktor multinasional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan survei dan wawancara. Instrumen survei menggunakan kuesioner yang divalidasi melalui FGD dengan para mahasiswa doktoral, expert judgement, dan diujicoba kepada calon responden. Hasil validitas dibuktikan dengan indeks Aiken V dan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Reliabilitas instrumen diukur menggunakan rumus Cronbach’s Alpha. Keabsahan data wawancara melalui uji triangulasi dan member check. PLS-SEM digunakan untuk menganalisis model konstruk hierarki reflektif-formatif tingkat ketiga dengan bantuan SmartPLS 4. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil wawancara dengan bantuan NVivo 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kompetensi kerja sarjana terapan Teknik Sipil dipengaruhi positif secara signifikan oleh kompetensi khusus, luas, dan abstrak. Kompetensi khusus dipengaruhi oleh foundational, engineering fundamentals, dan technical. Keterampilan digital, hijau, dan kewirausahaan mempengaruhi kompetensi luas. Kompetensi abstrak dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi sosial dan manusia, kemampuan belajar, dan metodologis. 2) Kompetensi kerja masa depan yang diperlukan di bidang konstruksi bagi lulusan sarjana terapan Teknik Sipil dalam menyongsong Indonesia Emas tahun 2045 dapat dikategorikan menjadi tiga, yaitu: 1) pengetahuan yang terintegrasi antara teori dan praktik lapangan, 2) keterampilan digital terhadap penggunaan teknologi-teknologi baru yang relevan dengan bidang teknik sipil, dan 3) keterampilan hati yang merupakan keterampilan yang akan dibutuhkan sepanjang hidup.
