Penelitin ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode grounded theory. Sumber data dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang sejalan dengan tema dan rumusan masalah penelitian. Pemilihan informan ditetapkan dengan teknik purposive dan snowball sampling. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari latar belakang dan strata pendidikan yang berbeda dan dapat memenuhi kriteria dalam penelitian yang dilakukan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, focus group discussion, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. Struktur fundamental pedagogik multiliterasi futuristik dibangun berlandaskan pada kajian landasan filosofis- empiris pedagogik multililterasi futuristik dan landasan konseptual-empiris pedagogik multililterasi futuristik dalam perspektif ahli multiliterasi, ahli budaya, ahli teknologi, ahli psikologi, dan guru atas perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Dalam konteks pembelajaran, hal tersebut memberi dampak terhadap orientasi pembelajaran secara konseptual dan praksis. Dampak tersebut membangun konsep pemahaman terhadap literasi yang perlu diajarkan dalam implementasi pedagogik multiliterasi futuristik, yang meliputi: literasi teknologi, literasi kemanusiaan, literasi budaya, literasi kewargaan, literasi agama, dan literasi lingkungan. Dalam implementasinya pedagogik multiliterasi futuristik perlu padanya internalisasi nilai-nilai fundamental yang meliputi: nilai spiritual, nilai karakter, nilai jati diri, nilai kearifan lokal, nilai identitas nasional, nilai multikultural, nilai kesadaran global, nilai pancasila, nilai agama, nilai etika, nilai gotong royong, dan nilai toleransi yang berorientasi pada terbangunnya kompetensi siswa.
