Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Model evaluasi yang digunakan yaitu Countenance Stake. Subjek penelitian adalah 287 peserta didik dan delapan guru geografi dari empat SMAN di Kota Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket, studi dokumen, dan observasi dengan pengharkatan skala Likert. Pembuktian validitas instrument menggunakan validitas isi dengan formula Aiken’s V dan validitas kontruk menggunakan Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Estimasi reliabilitas menggunakan uji Cronbach Alpha dengan hasil sebesar 0,913. Teknik analisis data deskripstif kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat ketercapaian keberhasilan pembelajaran geografi pada Kurikulum Merdeka mengacu pada kategorisasi terdiri dari sangat baik, baik, cukup baik, tidak baik, dan sangat tidak baik. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Ketercapaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran geografi pada aspek perencanaan di SMAN Kota Yogyakarta secara umum memiliki kriteria sangat baik dilihat dari indikator karakteristik dokumen rencana pembelajaran, isi dokumen rencana pembelajaran, kegiatan pendahuluan dan strategi pembelajaran (2) Aspek pelaksanaan secara umum memiliki kriteria baik dilihat dari indikator pembelajaran yang interaktif, inspiratif, menyenangkan, menantang, berpartisipasi aktif, dan penilaian proses pembelajaran (3) Aspek hasil secara umum memiliki kriteria baik dilihat dari indikator hasil nilai ulangan harian hasil nilai tengah semester, hasil nilai akhir semester, hasil nilai sikap, dan hasil nilai tugas. Secara umum, hasil evaluasi ini menunjukkan bahwa belum semua indikator mencapai 100% sehingga perlu dilakukan peningkatkan agar lebih optimal. Hasil evaluasi ini dapat menjadi salah satu acuan untuk perbaikan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran geografi.
