Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model Borg and Gall (1983). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala dan dokumentasi. Data kelayakan model layanan dasar berbasis blended learning dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar skala penilaian oleh model layanan dasar berbasis blended learning dan materi kesiapan karier. Data kepraktisan model menggunakan skala penilaian rencana pelaksanaan layanan dasar. Data keefektifan dikumpulkan menggunakan skala kesiapan karier. Analisis data menggunakan data kelayakan model dengan rumus content validity coeficient dari formula Aiken’s, dan analisis uji coba tahap satu dan tahap dua menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dengan uji prasarat uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Model layanan dasar berbasis blended learning yang dihasilkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan karier, dengan hasil uji model layanan rerata hasil uji sebesar 0,80 (kategori sedang), dan uji materi kesiapan karier rerata hasil uji sebesar 0,86 (kategori tinggi). (2) Model yang dihasilkan tersebut dinyatakan praktis untuk meningkatkan kesiapan karier dengan hasil skala penilaian oleh 8 praktisi guru bimbingan dan konseling sebesar 0,83 (kategori tinggi). (3) Model tersebut efektif untuk meningkatkan kesiapan karier. Hasil uji coba terbatas tahap 1 pada lima sekolah dengan 160 siswa menunjukkan t-hitung = 15,901 > 1,984 (t tabel) pada taraf signifikansi (α) = 5%, yang menunjukkan ada peningkatan kesiapan karier pada siswa yang signifikan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Pada uji coba lapangan tahap 2 pada 10 sekolah dengan 320 siswa menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti ada perbedaan produktivitas yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya perlakuan.
