This study was a Research & Development using ADDIE development steps including: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluations. The subject of the group trial involved 19 children aged 5-6 years and 1 teacher at Songgo Buono Kindergarten. The field trial subjects involved 53 children and 4 teachers at Dharma Siwi Kindergarten and Bhakti Siwi Kindergarten. Data were analyze using Wilcoxon test with the help of SPSS 19. The results of this study are: (1) the developed games using two- dimensional paper dolls to improve speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years meet the eligibility criteria based on material experts, media experts and teacher responses in “good” category; (2) the games using a two- dimensional paper dolls are declared effective in improving children’s speaking skills. The result of the Aasymp.Sig. (2-tailed) count is 0.000<0.05, so there is a significant difference in speaking skills between the children’s initial ability and their final ability after the treatment.
