TY - UNPB A1 - ambarsari, ria PB - Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta N2 - This study aims to 1) produce interactive multimedia assisted by adobe flash that meets the eligibility criteria, and 2) check the effectiveness of interactive multimedia assisted by adobe flash produced to increase learning motivation and understanding of Civics concepts for 4th grade elementary school students. The research method of this study is Research and Development which refers to the ten steps developed by Borg & Gall. The test subjects were 4th grade elementary school students at Srimulyo state elementary school, Sukoharjo state elementary school, Kumpul Rejo state elementary school, Bangun Harjo state elementary school in East Buay Madang District, East OKU. The data collection used interviews, questionnaires, scales, and tests. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis, t-test, and MANOVA test. The results shows that 1) the interactive multimedia assisted by Adobe Flash that is produce meets the eligibility criteria base on validation from media expert and material experts, as well as teacher responses and student responses with very decent categories; and 2) interactive multimedia assisted by Adobe Flash produce is effective to improve learning motivation and understanding of the civics concept in the material of Indonesian cultural diversity for 4th grade elementary school students on the t-test and MANOVA test significantly at a significance level of <0.05.
