This development research uses the Borg \& Gall model which consists of 10 steps: 1) preliminary study, 2) planning, 3) product draft development, 4) initial trial, 5) revision of initial trial results, 6) field trial, 7 ) product revision, 8) operational testing, 9) final product refinement, and 10) dissemination and implementation. The subjects of this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Kec. Pakualaman, Yogyakarta. Preliminary study data were collected by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. While the test data obtained by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The subject of the initial trial consisted of 11 students, the main trial consisted of 31 students, and the operational trial consisted of 30 students. Product validation was carried out by material experts and media experts, as well as teacher and student responses. The data obtained were analyzed using the N-Gain test, Independent Samples t Test, and the MANOVA test with the prerequisite test for the multivariate normality test and the covariance homogeneity test with a significance level of 0.05\%. The result of this research is picture book media assisted by AR which contains material for solid figure for fifth grade elementary school. The media is suitable for use based on the validation of material experts (category: very feasible) and media experts (category: feasible). In understanding of mathematical concepts, the results of the N-Gain test showed a score of 0.7 (experimental class) and 0.14 (control class). This means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, where the understanding of mathematical concepts in the experimental class is better. On learning motivation, the results of the N-Gain test showed a score of 0.7 (experimental class) and 0.10 (control class). This means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, where learning motivation in the experimental class is better. Likewise, the results of the sample t-test showed that the experimental class had a higher score. While the MANOVA test results show a significance value of 0.000 {\ensuremath{<}}0.05, which means that the AR-assisted picture book media significantly affects understanding of mathematical concepts and learning motivation of fifth grade fo elementary school in Kec. Pakualaman, Yogyakarta.} }
