TY - UNPB Y1 - 2022/08/16/ N2 - The changes in student aggressive behavior in the digital era have modernized a new type of bullying, namely cyber-bullying. Cyberbullying has become an interesting spotlight for scientists because it is a new form of bullying in the digital era. There have been many studies that discuss how cyberbullying behavior can occur among students at school. However, only some of them who know about how the simultaneous influence of social support factors, school climate, and social self- efficacy on cyberbullying behavior. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of social support, school climate, and students' social self-efficacy on the cyberbullying behavior of senior high school in Yogyakarta City. The study approach used quantitative research with the type of ex-post-facto research. The population of this research was the students of the state senior high school of Yogyakarta City, Tegalrejo District. This study involved 322 state senior high school students in the Yogyakarta City. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques employed were questionnaires and data was analyzed by using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) aided by Smart PLS software. The study results are described in the following points. (1) Social support has a negative influence on the cyberbullying behavior of high school students in Yogyakarta City. (2) School climate has a negative effect on cyberbullying behavior of high school students in Yogyakarta City. (3) Social self-efficacy has a significant negative effect on the cyberbullying behavior of high school students in Yogyakarta City. (4) Social self-efficacy significantly mediates the effect of social support and school climate on the cyberbullying behavior of Yogyakarta City senior high school students. The findings of this study discuss in-depth, and some implications for educational practitioners are proposed for further improvement.
