Therefore, this study aims to determine emotional intelligence as a independen of prosocial behavior when moderated by gender in Cirebon state senior high school students. This research uses the associative quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS) and Moderated Structural Equation Modeling (MSEM) to determine the function of gender as a moderating variable in the relationship between emotional intelligence and prosocial behavior. The research was conducted at state senior high schools in Cirebon. The population of this study is the students of state senior high schools in Cirebon. The research sampel are 225 students consisting of 50 males and 175 females. The data were collected using the emotional intelligence scale and the prosocial behavior scale. The validation of the instrument used the content validity done by experts. The emotional intelligence scale has a reliability of 0.720 and the prosocial behavior scale has a reliability of 0.798. The results show that the first hypothesis is accepted, which means that emotional intelligence can predict prosocial behavior with a contribution value of 28.2\%. The second hypothesis is rejected, which means that gender cannot moderate the relationship between emotional intelligence and prosocial behavior. The third hypothesis is accepted. Which means that aspect self awareness can predict prosocial behavior. The fourth hypothesis is accepted, which means that aspect self management can predict prosocial behavior. The fifth hypothesis is accepted, which means that aspect social awareness can predict prosocial behavior. The sixth hypothesis is accepted, which means that aspect relationship management can predict prosocial behavior.} }
