Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, desain penelitian menggunakan 10 langkah dari Borg and Gall. Tempat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Sekolah Dasar se Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Subjek yang digunakan adalah peserta didik Sekolah Dasar kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket/kuesioner untuk menilai model pembelajaran dan juga instrumen untuk uji efektifitas model, wawancara dengan guru. Secara kualitatif instrumen menggunakan rubrik penilaian. Validitas konten untuk model pembelajaran menggunakan 7 orang ahli dengan teknik Delphi. Validitas konstruk untuk model pembelajaran menggunakan Eksplanatori Faktor Analisis (EFA) dan Corfirmatory Faktor Analisis (CFA). Validitas konten instrumen model menggunakan teknik delphi dengan 3 orang expert. Reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan inter rater (3 orang). Validitas konten menggunakan Content Validity Ratio (CVR) dan Reliabilitas menggunakan interklas Koefisien korelasi (ICC). Uji efektifitas model dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, di antaranya: (1) tersusun model konseptual dan panduan teknis pembelajaran bola voli mini untuk menghabituasi nilai karakter disiplin, kerja sama dan kerja keras, dengan validitas konten model sebesar = 0.857, dan reliabilitas konstruk (CR) = 0.94 dan validitas konstrak CV = 0.96. Tersusun Instrumen untuk menilai 3 karakter dalam permainan bola voli, dengan Validitas Aiken sebesar: 1, dan Reliabilitas dengan perhitungan ICC sebesar = 0,81.
