Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 142 peserta didik. Teknik sampling menggunakan total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, yang telah diujicobakan dengan validitas sebesar 0,987 dan reliabilitas sebesar 0,987. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase.\r\nHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesulitan peserta didik kelas VII dalam pembelajaran senam lantai guling belakang di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta berada pada kategori “sangat rendah” sebesar 0,00% (0 peserta didik), “rendah” sebesar 26,06% (37 peserta didik), “cukup” sebesar 67,61% (96 peserta didik), “tinggi” sebesar 6,34% (9 peserta didik), dan “sangat tinggi” sebesar 0,00% (0 peserta didik). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kesulitan peserta didik kelas VII dalam pembelajaran senam lantai guling belakang dalam kategori “cukup”."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
