Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model 4-D. Subjek coba lapangan adalah 64 siswa di SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta dengan rincian 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa sebagai kelas control. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket penilaian kualitas produk, tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan grafik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan General Linear Model (GLM) dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, media CD interaktif fisika berbasis PBL pada materi Gerak Harmonik Sederhana yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan berdasarkan penilaian oleh expert judgment, guru fisika, teman sejawat, dan masuk kategori sangat baik dengan nilai 4,36 dari nilai maksimal 5. Kedua, penggunaan CD interaktif fisika berbasis PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi grafik peserta didik di SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta kelas XI MIPA 5. Ketiga, Penggunaan CD interaktif fisika berbasis PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematik peserta didik di SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta kelas XI MIPA 5.
