Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas X program MIPA di SMA Negeri 7 Purworejo. Subjek dipilih menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling untuk menentukan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE namun hanya sampai tahap implementasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket penilaian kelayakan oleh para ahli, angket respon peserta didik, soal pilihan ganda (pretest dan posttest), lembar observasi dan lembar kerja peserta didik. Penilaian efektivitas media dilakukan dengan analisis normalized gain score, independent t- test, dan Manova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Media Pembelajaran Biologi dengan kombinasi CPS dan SAVI layak dan efektif untuk digunakan berdasarkan: (1) hasil penilaian kelayakan media pembelajaran oleh para ahli dan peer reviewer yang menunjukan rata-rata persentase lebih dari 75 yang berarti media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sangat layak untuk digunakan; (2) respon pengguna (peserta didik) terhadap usability atau kepraktisan menunjukkan rata-rata persentase sebesar 85,5 yang berarti media pembelajaran sangat layak digunakan; (3) efektivitas media pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa hasil Normalized Gain dari kelas eksperimen 1 adalah 0,52 termasuk dalam kategori sedang untuk peningkatan kemampuan siswa dan kelas eksperimen 2 adalah 0,63 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang untuk peningkatkan kemampuan siswa; (4) hasil analisis independent t-test adalah p-value 0,00 <0,05 dan hasil Manova adalah p-value 0,00 <0,05 yang berarti adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. date: 2019-08-23 date_type: published institution: Program Pascasarjana department: Pendidikan Biologi thesis_type: tesis referencetext: Akker, J.
