Prosedur pengembangan 4D digunakan sebagai prosedur pengembangan dengan langkah-langkah berikut: (a) tahap pendefinisian, (b) perancangan, (c) pengembangan. Subjek uji coba lapangan pada kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas X MIPA 3 dan kelas kontrol terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Cerenti. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes tertulis untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis, angket untuk mengukur cinta tanah air siswa, angket respon, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Anava Desain Campuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran fisika dengan model discovery learning berbasis kearifan lokal pacu jalur yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan hasil uji coba di sekolah, (2) perangkat pembelajaran fisika dengan model discovery learning berbasis kearifan lokal pacu jalur dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan cinta tanah air siswa.
