Characterization carried out by X-ray diffraction (XRD) to determine the crystal structure and the chemical composition was determined by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), electrical properties determined by four point probe (FPP) and UV-VIS spectrocopy was used to determine response of transmittance a function of photon energy. The XRD results showed that Sn (Se0,4 S0,6) has orthorhombic crystal structure, with lattice constants a = 4.1186 {\r A}; b = 11.4830 {\r A}; c = 4.3192 {\r A}. While the EDS results show the chemical composition of the material of Sn: Se: S = 1: 0.47: 0.53. The material has a p-type and a resistivity of 85.4 ? cm. The UV -VIS spectroscopy showed that large absorption at about of 400 nm correlated with the band gap of 1,38 eV.}, url = {http://eprints.uny.ac.id/63929/} }
