%X The article entitled The Teachers’ Perception toward the Teacher’s Certification Program is the result of the research. This research aims at exploring the perceptions and views of the teachers toward the teacher certification program which has been implementing, in terms of its concept, requirement, and implementation. The population in this research are Elementary, Junior High, Senior High, and Vocational School teachers in Central Java and DIY who join the teacher certification program. The sample was taken randomly (random sampling). The collected data were classified into two categories, namely primary and secondary data. The primary data was collected by distributing questioners to the teachers and asking them to give responses to the program. Meanwhile the secondary data was gathered through documents study. In addition, the secondary data was collected by conducting a study about the references and institutions related to the implementation of the teacher certification namely P3AI, National Education Office of DIY, and National Education Office of Central Java. The research findings show that the teachers have similar perceptions and views toward the goals, and principals, and benefits of the teacher’s certification program. They agree with the formulation and statements dealing with the program, for example teacher certification program determines the teacher’s feasibility in doing the tasks as a teaching agent. Moreover the teachers give positive responses toward the benefits of the program.
