The research method used is research and development. The steps of this research are adapted from Sugiyono's research which is divided into 10 steps. A small group trial was conducted on 15 students, while a large group trial was conducted on 30 students. The instruments used to collect data are evaluation sheets, and assessment scale questionnaire. The results of the evaluation data are descriptive quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data obtained in the form of numbers from the questionnaire results. Questionnaire data in the form of quantitative data are analyzed using linkert scale so that it can shows the level of product feasibility. The results showed that the web-based geographic information system of sports venues in the province of Special Region of Yogyakarta is worth to be used as a sports venue information in order to create a sporting interest.This is showed by several assessments made by material experts, media experts and group trials. The final result of the product assessment by the material expert shows that the sports venues information web is "strongly agreed / effective" with 96% percentage and the final result of the product assessment by the media expert shows that the sports venues information web is "agreed/ effective" with 74% precentage. In the small group trial results obtained "strongly agreed / effective" with 87% precentage, and the results of large group trials obtained the results "strongly agreed / effective" with a percentage of 91%.
