Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu simak bebas libat cakap, rekam, dan catat. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi teori dan ketekunan \r\npengamatan. \r\nHasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dua simpulan, yaitu jenis-jenis \r\npenyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dan penyebab terjadinya penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi belajar mengajar bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas X SMA Bhinneka Karya 2 Boyolali. Jenis-jenis penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi belajar mengajar bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas X SMA Bhinneka Karya 2 Boyolali meliputi penyimpangan satu maksim, penyimpangan dua maksim, penyimpangan tiga maksim, dan penyimpangan empat maksim. Penyebab penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi belajar mengajar bahasa Indonesia siswa \r\nkelas X SMA Bhinneka Karya 2 Boyolali yang meliputi dorongan rasa emosi penutur, menuduh mitra tutur, bercanda untuk mempermalukan mitra tutur, protektif  terhadap pendapat, dan berbicara tidak sesuai konteks permasalahan yang sedang dibicarakan. \r\n \r\nKata kunci: kesantunan berbahasa, prinsip kesantunan, interaksi belajar mengajar"^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
