Lately, observational learning for the sake of the appeal of a psychological method in sports has been ignored by teachers of physical education and coaches. This article is hopefully to help convince researchers and practitioners not to forget observational learning as an effective method for the development of skills and psychological responses in sports. For that purpose, the article will discuss respectively case studies in sport activities, the theoretical approach to observational learning, motor skills and psychological responses, developmental issues, and possible interventions for Makaila, Harrison, and Felicia as individuals who have problems in sports. Modeling interventions are highly effective as methods of developing skills and psychological responses in physical activities. Theories, researches, and applications have given teachers of physical education and coaches convincing reasons for the reuse of observational learning as a learning method that could develop physical skills and psychological responses in sports. Model studying, self-observation techniques, peer models, and imitative models are part of the intervention types available that could be used on children and adults in sport practices, sport competitions, and rehabilitative situations.}, url = {http://eprints.uny.ac.id/5061/} }
