Populasi penelitian adalah semua mahasiswa FT-UNY yang akan melaksanakan KKN-PPL di SMK kelompok teknologi dan rekayasa se Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 775 orang. Populasi tersebar di 9 program studi kependidikan di lingkungan FT. Semua populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian.Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tehnik tes dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul di analisis secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan program SPSS. \r\nHasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) penguasan kompetensi asesmen mahasiswa PPL-KKN FT-UNY secara keseluruhan termasuk kategori sedang (rerata sekor = 9,34), masih di bawah sekor rerata ideal 10, 2) aspek-aspek kompetensi asesmen yang masih menjadi kelemahan adalah memahami klasifikasi penilaian, memahami acuan penilaian, memahami format bentuk tes, menganalisis penilaian acuan relatif, menganalisis jawaban tes, memahami konsep reliabilitas, menerapkan bentuk tes obyektif, dan menginterpretasi tingkat kesukaran butir soal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dilakukan program peningkatan kualitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran mata kuliah yang berkaitan dengan KKN-PPL, seperti Pengajaran Mikro, Teknologi
