abstract: This research aims to determine the relationship of family environments and job information on interest in entrepreneurship of mechanical engineering students of vocational high school. Samples on this ex-post facto research were 227 students of mechanical engineering of XI and XII grade in SMKN 2 Depok, SMKN 1 Seyegan, SMK Muh. Prambanan, SMK Piri Sleman and SMK Nasional Berbah. The data were collected by questionnaires and then analyzed using product moment correlation and F-test techniques. The research results were: 1) Family environment and entrepreneurship interest has positive relationship. 2) Job information and interest in entrepreneurship has positive relationship. 3) Family environment and job information simultaneously has positive relationship with interest in entrepreneurship.
