The research is descriptive comparative research. The population in this research is all of student grade XI on Building Technique Program in SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta counted 111 students. Sample in this research is 84 student wich determined by Nomogram Hary King, sampel for each class determined by proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique conducted by using questionnaire. The data analysis conducted by independent sampel test (test t). The result of this research showing that: (1) The rate of motivation learning Regular student grade XI on Building Technique Program in SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta is included in high category (mean 75.38) within interval 00-100. (2) The rate of motivation learning Poor Family student grade XI on Building Technique Program in SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta is included in very high category (mean 75.38) within interval 00-100 (3) There is no difference of learning motivation between Regular students and Poor Family students the shown by coefficient of t calculate equal to -0965 which is smaller than t table of equal to 1.99 (p= 0.337 > 0.05). Hypothesis says there is no difference learning motivation between Regular student and Poor Family student there fore (Ho) is accepted.
