%X Kaempferia genus is perennial member of the Zingiberaceae family and is  cultivated in Indonesia and other parts of Southeast Asia. Number of studies has been  conducted, providing information related to Kaempferia as antioxidant; antimutagenic;  and chemopreventive agent. This paper reports some isolated compounds from this plant,  biological activity, and bioprospecting for cancer treatment.
