Abstract

This research aimed to identify the description of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) knowledge among productive teachers in the SMK Negeri 1 (State Vocational School 1) Seyegan Sleman. It was a descriptive research using quantitative approach. Population involved 40 productive teachers at the State Vocational School 1 Seyegan Sleman. Total sampling technique, namely, utilizing total population as research samples was adopted. Research object was the productive teachers ICT knowledge involving knowledge on computer, internet, and presentation multimedia application. Data were collected by using test method. The level of instrument validity was tested by utilizing Product Moment technique, while instrument reliability was tested through the use of Split Half technique. Descriptive analysis technique was exploited in data analysis of this research. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the ICT knowledge of the productive teachers in the State Vocational School 1 Seyegan Sleman was at the level of 66.55%. The achievement levels of ICT knowledge aspect were as the following: knowledge on computer, internet, presentation multimedia application were 66.35%, 74.76%, and 62.00%, respectively.
